The portable bio-impedance analyzer BIA Anniversary is the latest development of Akern, together with its sister company RJL, the acclaimed leader in clinical BIA instruments, celebrating the 25th year of continuous production and world wide sales of the legendary » BIA 101 instrument. The implementation of latest electronics design and processor technology within the BIA 101 Anniversary guarantees precise measurement and reliable determination of body and tissue structure. The first time ever, body composition together with indicators for the one-glance graphical » Biavector® analysis are displayed in real time. Applying the proven STA® modality, directly measuring cell mass by capacitance, tests can be taken with or without co-predictors, such as age, gender, and weight. The built-in processor allows storage and management of test data (up to 80 complete tests). The novel smart dial enhances operation and speed of application. The BIA101 Anniversary is the right choice when an immediate reading of nutrition and hydration data is required e.g. in emergency, critical care medicine, on the ward or during visits. Data can be transferred to a PC by wireless transmission or printed on an optional handy thermo printer. On the PC data can be further analyzed, graphed, archived or printed with the BodyGram® PRO Software offering clinically validated algorithms and norms.
